Activists’ boycott list grows longer

On the heels of its recent success in forcing Japanese beer conglomerate Kirin Holdings to reconsider in part its joint-ventures partners in Myanmar, activist group “Burma Campaign UK” released an updated list of “military products and brands” calling consumers to boycott them.

The list spans different categories, from Health and Beauty products (face masks, hand sanitizer…) to F&B products or media outlets.

Burma Campaign UK has been linked to major companies such as Kirin, MAERSK, POSCO or Western Union to cut or change their business practices in the Golden Land.
