Cambodian food delivery and logistics company, Meal Temple Group, has made a minority stake investment into Myanmar-based Freshgora. According to a Dealstreet Asia article, Freshgora’s goal is to provide delivery services to restaurants, liquor shops and pet stores. The company will work with Meal Temple Group to become an “on-demand super app for the frontier markets in Asia in the long run,” said Daniel Htut, a spokesperson for the company. “We want to provide customers an effective way of spending time ordering food, to deliver on time, and give the same experience and taste as personally ordering from a restaurant,” said Thiha Soe, Freshgora’s head of PR. Meal Temple was established in Cambodia in 2013. It provides services in the major cities of Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, according to its website.
