The Myanmar Young Entrepreneurs Association (MYEA) has been selected by the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) to be this year’s host of the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW 2018).
During one week each November, thousands of events and competitions in 170 countries inspire millions to engage in entrepreneurial activity while connecting them to potential collaborators, mentors and even investors. Powered by the Kauffman Foundation, the initiative is supported by dozens of world leaders and a network of more than 15,000 partner organizations. GEW is held this year November 12-18. USAID has agreed this year again to be the main sponsor of GEW, while the DaNa Facility acts as a supporting sponsor. The theme of GEW 2018 in Myanmar is:
Building the Economy through Entrepreneurship
MYEA is aiming at having around 45 events throughout Myanmar in the period from November 12 to 18.
