The aim of the 2019 Invest Myanmar Summit is to develop domestic economy and to promote investment and market, not only in Yangon Region but also in Mandalay, Ayeyarwady and Tanintharyi regions and Shan, Kayin and Mon states.  UMFCCI will invite investors from nine countries to participate in the event, including the U.S, England, China, India, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Singapore and Thailand. The summit is project to create local and foreign investments and employment opportunities in eight major sectors – manufacturing, garment, electricity and energy, food, tourism, education, healthcare and real estate. It is expected to host more than 800 participants.
