According to figures from the Ministry of Commerce released this week, Myanmar earned over USD 907 million from mineral exports in the first four months of present fiscal year (FY) which started October 1st.
This figure represents an increase of USD 579 million, compared to the same period of last FY 2018-2019 when it fetched over USD 328 million.
Over the same period, the total country’s export value settled at USD 6.1 billion, with manufacturing and agriculture leading the rankings followed by the mineral sector.
