Singapore sends medical supplies to help Covid-19 detection efforts

Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has sent 3,000 diagnostic tests and two polymerase chain reaction (PCR) machines to Myanmar to help the country in its efforts in detecting the new Corona virus, Covid-19, following a request by the Ministry of Health and Sports.

Myanmar has so far no confirmed cases of patients with the virus but remains alert on inbound passengers coming from affected zones. Trade and tourism have taken a toll though.
