M. Patana Sangsriroujana, Thailand Deputy Governor for Policy and Planning declared that the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), has been requested by the Energy Minister to talk to Myanmar to sell energy to the neighboring country.
Thailand’s power supply has a surplus capacity of over 10,000 MW that the government wants to trade to countries such as Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia.
